Online Group Classes
FULL BODY ACTIVE FLEX
Each class incorporates a mix of active flexibility and evidence-based strategies to optimize your nervous system and retain freedom to move at your end range of motion.
BACKBENDS
Level 1 - Covers targeted conditioning for injury prevention as well as the fundamentals of backbending. We will break the full wheel backbend down into its component parts and address the role of flexibility in the shoulders, upper-back, mid back, hips and wrists, as well as work on building the requisite core stability and technique to safely execute a full wheel backbend.
Level 2 - Covers techniques for training entrances to backbends and prep for skills across acrobatic disciplines such as contortion handstands, forearms stands and aerial backbalances.
FRONT AND MIDDLE SPLITS
Level 1 - Covers the fundamentals of conditioning and alignment for front split and middle splits. We will go over basic theory as well as a variety of targeted exercises for stretching and conditioning.
Level 2 - Covers techniques for training end range splits and using props to bias specific muscles more effectively. More emphasis is placed on refining technique and learning to cue yourself for deeper stretching.
